Aloe megalacantha subsp. alticola merupakan tumbuhan sukulen berbentuk perdu dari famili Asphodelaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Ethiopia timur (Harerge Reg.). Nama ilmiah Aloe megalacantha subsp. alticola pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Michael George Gilbert pada tahun 1997.
