Aloe trothae merupakan tumbuhan sukulen dari famili Asphodelaceae yang tumbuh menahun. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Tanzania (Kigoma). Nama ilmiah Aloe trothae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alwin Berger pada tahun 1905.
