Alopecurus cucullatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Gozo hingga Iraq utara. Nama ilmiah Alopecurus cucullatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis François Vincent Raspail pada tahun 1825.
