Alopecurus cucullatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Gozo hingga Iraq utara. Nama ilmiah Alopecurus cucullatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama François Vincent Raspail pada tahun 1825.
