Alopecurus mucronatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Iran selatan, Afghanistan, Tadzhikistan (Pegunungan Pamir). Nama ilmiah Alopecurus mucronatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Eduard Hackel pada tahun 1903.
