Alseis floribunda merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil. Nama ilmiah Alseis floribunda diperkenalkan oleh Heinrich Wilhelm Schott pada tahun 1827.
