Alseis involuta merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil timur. Nama ilmiah Alseis involuta diperkenalkan oleh Karl Moritz Schumann pada tahun 1889.
