Alseis latifolia merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Rubiaceae (suku kopi-kopian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Maranhão). Nama ilmiah Alseis latifolia diperkenalkan oleh Henry Allan Gleason pada tahun 1935.
