Alseodaphne velutina merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Alseodaphne velutina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Auguste Jean Baptiste Chevalier pada tahun 1991.
