Alsophila nilgirensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Cyatheaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah India selatan. Nama ilmiah Alsophila nilgirensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Richard Eric Holttum pada tahun 1970.
