Alsophila sternbergii adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Cyatheaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Brazil hingga Paraguay. Nama ilmiah Alsophila sternbergii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Baptist Emanuel Pohl pada tahun 1983.
