Alternanthera paronychioides subsp. chacoensis merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Amaranthaceae (suku bayam-bayaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Bolivia hingga Brazil (Mato Grosso) dan Argentina bagian utara. Nama ilmiah Alternanthera paronychioides subsp. chacoensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Morong pada tahun 2016.
