Alyssum trichostachyum merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Semenanjung Balkan hingga Iran barat laut. Nama ilmiah Alyssum trichostachyum diperkenalkan oleh Franz Josef Ruprecht pada tahun 1869.
