Ambrosia pannosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Peru. Nama ilmiah Ambrosia pannosa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Willard William Payne pada tahun 1966.
