Amischotolype hirsuta merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Commelinaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra, Kalimantan. Nama ilmiah Amischotolype hirsuta diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Ernst Hans Hallier pada tahun 2012.
