Ammoselinum occidentale adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko (Baja California). Nama ilmiah Ammoselinum occidentale diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Philip Alexander Munz pada tahun 1925.
