Amorphophallus purpurascens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Myanmar. Nama ilmiah Amorphophallus purpurascens diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Wilhelm Sulpiz Kurz pada tahun 1893.
