Ampelocissus elephantina var. sphaerophylla merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Vitaceae (suku anggur-angguran) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar. Nama ilmiah Ampelocissus elephantina var. sphaerophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Gilbert Baker pada tahun 1960.
