Amphibromus whitei adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Queensland selatan-tengah hingga New South Wales utara. Nama ilmiah Amphibromus whitei pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Edward Hubbard pada tahun 1941.
