Amphipogon strictus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Australia barat daya dan tenggara hingga Queensland tenggara. Nama ilmiah Amphipogon strictus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Robert Brown pada tahun 1810.
