Amphiscirpus nevadensis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Cyperaceae (suku teki-tekian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Amphiscirpus nevadensis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Sereno Watson pada tahun 1974.
