Amphitecna macrophylla merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Bignoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko selatan hingga Honduras. Nama ilmiah Amphitecna macrophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Berthold Carl Seemann pada tahun 1882.
