Amphitecna spathicalyx merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Bignoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Panama (Cerro Campana). Nama ilmiah Amphitecna spathicalyx pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alwyn Howard Gentry pada tahun 1976.
