Amsonia elliptica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China tenggara, Korea, Jepang. Nama ilmiah Amsonia elliptica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1819.
