Amsonia tomentosa var. stenophylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apocynaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah hingga Meksiko (Chihuahua). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan woolly bluestar. Nama ilmiah Amsonia tomentosa var. stenophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Thomas Henry Kearney pada tahun 1939.
