Anchusa ovata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Nama ilmiah Anchusa ovata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johann Georg Christian Lehmann pada tahun 1818.
