Aniba bracteata merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Puerto Rico hingga Lesser Antilles. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan canelillo. Nama ilmiah Aniba bracteata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1889.
