Anisotes macrophyllus merupakan tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah hingga Uganda. Nama ilmiah Anisotes macrophyllus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gustav Lindau pada tahun 1966.
