Anotea flavida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Malvaceae (suku kapas-kapasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Meksiko (Guerrero tengah). Nama ilmiah Anotea flavida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1915.
