Anthoxanthum horsfieldii merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Assam hingga China (Guizhou) dan Papua. Nama ilmiah Anthoxanthum horsfieldii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1950.
