Anthoxanthum monticola adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim dingin (subalpin atau subarktik) dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Subarctic hingga Korea dan Amerika Serikat timur laut. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan alpine sweetgrass. Nama ilmiah Anthoxanthum monticola pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jacob Bigelow pada tahun 1985.
