Anthoxanthum ovatum adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semusim dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Mediterania. Nama ilmiah Anthoxanthum ovatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Mariano Lagasca y Segura pada tahun 1816.
