Anthurium seleri merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Meksiko (Oaxaca selatan, Chiapas tengah), Guatemala barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Anthurium seleri diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 1898.
