Ande-ande merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Phyllanthaceae. Tumbuhan yang dikenal dengan nama ilmiah Antidesma ghaesembilla ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan Asia tropis dan subtropis hingga Australia utara. Nama ilmiah Antidesma ghaesembilla diperkenalkan oleh Joseph Gaertner pada tahun 1788.
