Apalochlamys spectabilis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Australia tenggara. Nama ilmiah Apalochlamys spectabilis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Jacques Labillardière pada tahun 1967.
