Aphelandra macrophylla adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia timur laut hingga Venezuela. Nama ilmiah Aphelandra macrophylla pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Emery Clarence Leonard pada tahun 1953.
