Aphelandra obtusa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Goiás). Nama ilmiah Aphelandra obtusa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1975.
