Aphelandra pulcherrima adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan perdu atau perdu kecil dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Panama, Bolivia, hingga Trinidad-Tobago. Nama ilmiah Aphelandra pulcherrima pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Nikolaus Joseph von Jacquin pada tahun 1818.
