Apium prostratum var. filiforme merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Apiaceae (suku adas-adasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Australia selatan dan tenggara hingga Kepulauan Kermadec. Nama ilmiah Apium prostratum var. filiforme pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Achille Richard pada tahun 1899.
