ADAM AND EVE Aplectrumhyemale (Muhl. ex Willd.) Torr.
Aplectrum hyemale merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur hingga Amerika Serikat bagian timur dan timur-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan adam and eve. Nama ilmiah Aplectrum hyemale pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gotthilf Heinrich Ernst Muhlenberg pada tahun 1826.
