Apoballis hastifolia merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Sumatra Utara. Nama ilmiah Apoballis hastifolia pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Ernst Hans Hallier pada tahun 2010.
