Aponogeton capuronii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aponogetonaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh di air dan membentuk bonggol berbentuk umbi. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Madagaskar tenggara. Nama ilmiah Aponogeton capuronii diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Heinrich Wilhelm Eduard (Harry) van Bruggen pada tahun 1968.
