Apteria aphylla (Nutt.) Barnhart ex Small

Apteria aphylla merupakan tumbuhan holomikotrofik dari famili Burmanniaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk bonggol akar rimpang di bawah permukaan tanah. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan nodding nixie. Nama ilmiah Apteria aphylla diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1903.
