Aquilegia formosa var. hypolasia adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Ranunculaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari California selatan hingga Meksiko (Baja California Norte hingga Chihuahua). Nama ilmiah Aquilegia formosa var. hypolasia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Edward Lee Greene pada tahun 1946.
