Arabis flagellosa merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Brassicaceae (suku sawi-sawian). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari China tenggara, Jepang tengah dan selatan, hingga Nansei-shoto. Nama ilmiah Arabis flagellosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Friedrich Anton Wilhelm Miquel pada tahun 1865.
