Arachis valida merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil (Mato Grosso do Sul). Nama ilmiah Arachis valida diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Antonio Krapovickas pada tahun 1994.
