Aralia bicrenata merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Araliaceae (suku mangkok-mangkokan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Utah hingga Meksiko utara. Nama ilmiah Aralia bicrenata diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Elmer Otis Wooton pada tahun 1913.
