Arctostaphylos alpina merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Ericaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan alpine bearberry. Nama ilmiah Arctostaphylos alpina pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Curt Polycarp Joachim Sprengel pada tahun 1825.
