Arctotis canescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Provinsi Cape barat. Nama ilmiah Arctotis canescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1838.
