Arctotis formosa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Arctotis formosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Peter Thunberg pada tahun 1799.
