Arctotis hirsuta merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Provinsi Cape. Nama ilmiah Arctotis hirsuta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Gustave Beauverd pada tahun 1915.
